Hi, this is Paula. Details of a tentative peace deal between the US and Tehran began to trickle out yesterday as western leaders arrived in Evian for the G7 summit, with each side offering somewhat conflicting versions.

We unpack what we know so far, ahead of an in-person ceremony slated for Friday in Geneva – at Tehran’s request.

And before heading for Evian, Brazil’s president joined WHO director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in calling countries to promptly agree on the pandemic treaty’s final annex, warning that the next global outbreak may soon hit.
