💣FUNDING MINE ACTION.
On Tuesday, state parties to the anti-personnel mines ban convention are set to gather for their annual pledging conference, where they will seek financial support to rid the world of the deadly explosives and fund the activities of the 1999 treaty.
The convention’s 164 signatories have committed to never use anti-personnel mines, nor to “develop, produce, otherwise acquire, stockpile, retain or transfer” them.

Called into question.
