✂️ICRC to cut 240 jobs at its Geneva headquarters. The news comes after the humanitarian organisation announced in July its decision to slash its 2026 budget by 17 per cent to CHF1.8 billion as part of efforts to adapt to declining donor support.

⛓️UN says international staff held by Yemen's Houthis 'free to move' in compound. Rebels raided a United Nations building in Sanaa on Saturday, holding 20 of its employees. All five national staff have been released while the 15 international employees are allowed to move inside the compound, the organisation said.
