⚕️Keeping momentum on a pandemic ‘treaty’. World Health Organization (WHO) chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged the world on Monday to keep the “momentum” to negotiate a new pandemic 'treaty’ to prevent, prepare for and respond to future pandemics. He was addressing a meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body in Geneva, kicking off negotiations for a future global pandemic treaty to steer the world’s response to pandemics in the wake of Covid-19.
