Meanwhile, Belgium’s former prime minister, Alexander de Croo, has been tapped to lead the UN Development Programme, by UN boss António Guterres, who was in Geneva on Wednesday. And president Trump plans to be in Davos next year, even though invitations have yet to be sent.
