Hello, this is Kasmira. Journalists in Geneva had their work cut out for them on Tuesday, rushing from one side of the lake to the other to cover talks between the US and Iran, and later with Russia and Ukraine.

Though kept closely under wraps, the little detail that was disclosed on the Iran talks seemed to point to glimmers of progress and some homework for both parties on drafting a potential deal. Though will it be enough to ease tensions and avert a potential conflict remains to be seen.

Over at Geneva's Intercontinental hotel, peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will continue today after kicking off yesterday afternoon behind close doors.
