As the WTO’s decision-making body wrapped up its two-day meeting yesterday, there were sighs of disappointment that countries were once again unable to clinch a deal on fisheries, or agree a way forward on long-stalled agriculture negotiations. But one area they were able to agree on was speeding up the process to potentially reappoint its chief for a second term.
