Hello, this is Kasmira. Yesterday morning, in a corner of the UN the vast barricaded grounds in Geneva, journalists were given a peek at a new immersive exhibition space and welcome centre that will open up to the public in less that two weeks.

The low-rise sand-coloured coloured buildings are discrete and unassuming but inside, its creators aim to "wow" the public with a 60-minute experience that will leave them in no doubt of the importance of the UN and multilateralism to their everyday lives.

The Portail des Nations, a new visitor centre created on the grounds of the United Nations' European headquarters in Geneva will offer a unique immersive experience, starting on 8 June.
